Tryon Creek Cowl
Tryon Creek Cowl is cozy and squishy with easy cables between ribbed bands. Picture wearing it with your favorite jackets on a cool, crisp day and your matching Tryon Creek Hat!
The cowl is truly unisex, is offered in three sizes, and has a bit of shaping so that it fits well and doesn’t flop around. Construction is seamless and worked totally in the round. When you’ve finished knitting, just weave in a couple of ends and it’s ready to wear.
The Tryon Creek Cowl, same as the hat, can be made in Worsted or DK yarn weights. Size and height are easily adjusted (instructions are included). The size will vary depending on yarn weight and gauge.
The instructions are both written and charted and the pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested.

Finished Circumference: 26.25( 28, 29.5) inches / 66.5(71, 75) cm at bottom edge and 19.75( 21, 22) inches / 50(53.5, 56) cm at the top edge.
Height: 7 inches / 18 cm.
Size is easily adjustable and instructions are included in pattern.
RECOMMENDED YARN AND YARN KITS

OR
Madelinetosh Tosh DK (100% superwash Merino wool); 225 yards (206 m)/approx 4.16 oz (118 g).
OR any Worsted or DK yarn with some “bounce” and good stitch definition that meets gauge.

Yarn usage will vary depending on gauge and specific yarn used.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
Small - US 5 (3.75 mm) 24″ / 60 cm circular needle. Used for ribbing.
Large (Main) - US 6 (4 mm) 24″ / 60 cm circular needle. Used for body.
Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain correct gauge. Can use shorter cables if needed as decrease stitches.
GAUGE
24 sts/30 rounds = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette using Small needles

Stitch Markers, Cable needle, Yarn needle to weave in ends.
